Unexpected Changes

Life shows upGameofLife
when you least expect it.

I haven’t posted in nearly 6 months. Ever since I took the promotion at work it seems I have no time left for me.  Yesterday a girlfriend and her two kids came over and we sewed, cooked hamburgers and tots, and let the kids watch movies. She’s a great person, lots of fun, but having a hard time; she doesn’t have a place to call home. I talked to my daughter (28 now) about offering her a place to stay for a while and she agreed. So we made the offer.

We will officially have two new roommates come this June. When you open your home, you will eventually end up with semi-permanent guests. This is a good thing, and I know I will learn a lot more about myself in the process.

What do ‘they’ say?
If you have shadows fill the room with light.

I believe I have filled every available space with something beautiful; my daughter, my grandson, my friends, my pets, and all the ceremonies life has to offer.

On another note, if you are interested in reading a good book check out Shadows in the House with Twelve Rooms by J. Price Higgins. http://wp.me/P2z1jQ-Q  You will find links on this page for Kindle and Nook versions.
