Wishing You Enough

hp photosmart 720On this day of celebrating mom’s, I am reminded that mine is gone. Whispers of words past, little glimpses into childhood memories; these are what I have left. As time passes the memories fade a little more leaving me with little to grasp. From nowhere a tear trickles down my face–I love you mom.

For the last two years of her life, we talked on the phone every evening between 5:30 and 8:00pm. It wasn’t enough.

Mom always closed out an email or conversation with

“wish you enough”.

Now I know why.
